We had another amazing night tonight! We now have over 500 kids registered for VBS!
At Bible Blast we learned that Peter took a step of faith when he walked on the water with Jesus. But when he took his eyes off of him, he began to sink! We need to keep our focus on Jesus too as we go through life! We learned that Jesus Gives us the Power to Be Brave!A-Ha!
Tonight’s Snack was delicious! What was on the menu? “Keep Your Ice on Me” Get it!!!!
And the Elementary Students did a cool experiment at Chadder’s Theater! Remember, when Jesus Gives us the Power to be Brave (A-Ha!), we don’t have to care about the worriesor fears in life!
Tonight’s missions offering was $420.35! That means we have a total of $808.40! We have a long way to go to reach our goal of $4,000 so remember Peter as you head back to VBS tomorrow night.Keep praying for Peter. Pray the Jesus GIves Peter the Power to be Brave as he prepares for his surgery on August 4th!
4th and 5th graders slid a little backwards from their goal with only 83 students in attendance!Remember, tomorrow nightthere is a special “one time offer”. If there are 100 students, we’ll let you choose 2 people to slime!
Our Bible Point onWednesday night will be JESUS GIVES US THE POWER TO LIVE FOREVER! Start working on your power verse, “Since I live, you also will live.”John 14:19
Friday Night Faith Fusion Finale: Kids will not be reporting to their classroom, but instead will come with their families for a fun finale! Arrive at 6:30 andwe’ll start with a family worship time in the worship center! Then we’ll see a fun slide show starring all of YOU and take up one last offering to help Peter. We’ll have a great sceince experiment that you won’t want to miss as well as a special treat at the end. And who knows, maybe someone will get slimed!
