Who will help us? Jesus will help us!

Today, duringGreenhouse, we learned about how Jesus healed the deaf man (Mark 7:32-37). Because Jesus is God’s Son, he can perform great miracles like this one. And he can help us too…..whether we need help with something big or something small.

To help us remember our story today, we played a fun matching game- matching different ears to the animal they belong on, and we played a fun game making animal sounds. We are so glad God gave us our ears to hear!

Parents, This week play this game with your child to help them appreciate their ear. Play a game of hide and seek with a twist. Have the person who is hiding blow a whistle, or ring a bell or make some other sounds. Let your child use their ears to help them find the hiding person. Throughout the game praise you child for using the ears that God gave them. Be sure to say a prayer after the game to thank God for our listening ears.

We have one more week to learn our memory verse. It says, “He (Point up for God) cares (hug self) for me (use both thumbs to point to self) 1 Peter 5:7. (hold hands out like a Bible)
