Preschool: Wiii Week 1

This month our preschoolers will be learning about the same thing as thegrown ups. Today we began our month by learning our key question and point:

What did Jesus say is important? 1. Love God. 2. Love Others.

We’ll be studying the life of Paul this month. We learned that Paul wasn’t doing these 2 important things. He wasn’t showing love for God or for others.So Jesusspoke to Paul through a bright light on the road to Damascus. When Paul got up, he was blind. His friends helped him go to Damascus. God sent a man tnamed Ananias tovisit Paul. When the man prayed for Paul, Paul could see again. Paul was baptized andturned his life around. To help us remember this story, we made Paul puppets and played a game helping lead our friends around while they were blindfolded.

Parents, this month we’ll be learning some of the same concepts that you are learning about. This is a great opportunity for your family to work on some goals together. Set a goal this week to learn our memory verse. “Love (cross hands over your heart) the Lord (point up) and love (cross hands over your heart) your neighbor as yourself .” (point to those around you) Matthew 22:37 & 39 (hold hands open like a Bible)
