Preschool: God Made the Animals

We continue to explore the story of creation by talking about what God made on day 6: God made animals! It was an exciting morning as we made animal puppets, played a game that allowed us tomake all kinds of animal sounds, and had delicious animal cookies! Who makes good things? God makes good things!

Parents, kids love animals sothey can get very excited talking about all the animals that God made. This week, stop by a pet store and check out some of the cool animals that God made- like rabbits, and guinea pigs. Maybe you can even pick up a bag of dog biscuits for a neighbor’s pet. Let your child make a card and deliver the gift. On the way, be sure to talk about all those cool animals that God made.

Keep practicing the memory verse. “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” Gen. 1:31 And don’t forget about your special take-home creation book. Let your child read it before bed time, in the car, or during snack time.
