The Wild: Patience Week 2
May 8th, 2010
Each week in The Wild we learn exciting new things that God wants to teach us. To help kids take home and apply what they are learning we want to provide parents with some of the basics that we cover each week and also a few questions you can talk through with your kids in the car or during a meal sometime this week.
This Month’s Virtue:PATIENCE is waiting until later for something you want now.
The Bottom Line: Don’t get tired of doing the right thing.
Memory Verse: “The end of a matter is much better than its beginning. So it’s much better to be patient than proud.” – Ecclesiastes 7:8 NIV
This Week’s Bible Story: The golden calf – Exodus 19 2-8, 32:1-7, 15-24, 30-34
Think About it Questions:
- Kid’s Question – What was one right thing the Israelites got tired of doing in today’s Bible story?
- Parent’s Question – What do you think are some of the right reasons to be patient?
