Each week in The Wild we learn exciting new things that God wants to teach us. To help kids take home and apply what they are learning we want to provide parents with some of the basics that we cover each week . Here is one way to keep important information in front of your family so that it becomes as familiar as the refrigerator door!

This month in ClubHouse, our preschoolers are learning that Jesus wants to be their friend forever!
(Q) Who is your friend?
(A) Jesus is my good friend!
Our memory reminds us that we can be a good friend just like Jesus:
A FRIEND (Clasp hands together)
LOVES (cross arms over heart)
AT ALL TIMES (Spread arms out in front of you).
PROVERBS 17:17 (hold hands in front like a book)
HOME TIP: This month, reinforce this verse by “catching” your child being a good friend. Ex. When your child shares a toy with a sibling or a parent, praise them and say “You were a good friend by sharing your toy. Remember the Bible says, A friend loves at all times.”

A short Spring Play Day session has been planned (only 4 weeks) at a discounted price of $10.00. As always, we’ll provide all the supplies & the snacks. All play days for preschoolers & their parent(s) are on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m.
Play Days give kids an opportunity to make friends in a relaxed environment while parents connect with other parents.
You must register in advance to participate. Each play day session is limited to 20 kids. Email Jessica at JessicaS@wschurch.org to register.

A Fun in the Sun basket, perfect for preschoolers or younger elementary students, will be auctioned off at the Pasta Dinner & Auction on April 22nd to raise funds for this summer’s Kenya mission trip.

On Sunday, April 15th the second edition of Family Night Live, a new resource developed by West Side’s Family Ministry team will be released. Each FNL experience is designed to provide families with an opportunity to have fun and talk about how you can grow together. This edition focuses on helping your family identify and live out your values through a few fun activities. The cost is $3 but we think it’ll be well worth your investment. It comes with a DVD, supplies and tons of great memories!
Stop by our table in the concourse on 4/15 or 4/22 to get yours. If you miss getting a copy then, you can always ask a family ministry team member and we can get you one. Once you have yours, set aside a couple of hours with your family to try it. Afterward make sure you tell us about your experience. Submit your story online by May 20th (www.wschurch.org/FNL) for a chance to win a great prize for your family!
