11:20 Dedication Event

dedicationJoshJust a few weeks ago, we held a special event to dedicate our new facilities to God!  Our West Side family was invited to come and worship and pray in our new children’s worship space.  Inspired by Detueronomy 11:20, we then covered the floors of our new space with God’s Word and prayers.  It was a great opportunity to remember that all blessings come from God and that his Word is the foundation for all that we do!

Check out some pics from this great afternoon:

The Wild: Prayer

Each week in The Wild we learn exciting new things that God wants to teach us.  To help kids take home and apply what they are learning we want to provide parents with some of the basics that we cover each week and also a few questions you can talk through with your kids in the car or during a meal sometime this week.

This Month’s Virtue:PRAYER talking with God in public and private

The Bottom Line: Take prayer out of the box

Week’s Bible Story:Some principles about prayer James 5:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Romans 8:26

Think About it Questions:

  1. Kid’s Question – What does it mean to take prayer out the box?
  2. Parent’s Question – Did you grow up hearing about rules of prayer? If so what were they?
