Sunday morning we learned that on day 6, God made people! The first man that God made was named Adam and the first woman was named Eve. When God saw the people he had made, he said, “It is very good.” Since God made people, that means God made you and me! To help us remember this, we made people necklaces, used play-doh to make our own creations, and had fun playing with little people.
So, who makes good things? God makes good things! That’s right! Our Bible verse tells us that’s true. “God saw all that he had made and said it was very good.” Genesis 1:31
Parents, this week pull out your favorite family photo albums. Kids love to look atpictures of themselves and see how much they have changed. They love to see photos of you from the past too. Look at all the people in the pictures that God made, and say “I’m so glad God made all these people in our family.”
On Sunday, November 29th we have our final lesson from the creation story. We’ll learn that God gave Adam and Eve a garden full of wonderful food to eat. This week, as you sit down to eat Thanksgiving dinner, be sure to thank God for providing food for your family. Help us provide food for others during this holiday season by letting your child bring in a canned fruit or vegetable this Sunday.

We are still learning about the amazing world God made! Who made everything? God made everything!
Last week we learned that on day 6, God made animals. On day 6, God also made people. The first 2 people that God made were Adam and Eve! We celebrated that God made us today! God made each of us different. He made some with blue eyes, and some with brown or green eyes. He made some of us with black hair, and some with blonde, or red, or brown! He made each of us special!
We colored people pictures to look like us.

And we made a fun snack that looked like a person out of pretzel sticks, cheese cubes and marshamallows.

We are getting really good at saying our memory verse. Keep practicing. “God made the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
Parents: This week celebrate our lesson, God made people, by pulling out photo albums and looking at the pictures with your child. Thank God for all the people you know. God made everyone of them!
