How do I know what to do? God will teach me. That’s right! Today we learned that God teaches us through the Bible. We learned 4 things:
1. The Bible is True (use your hands to make a T)
2. The Bible teaches me what is right (thumbs up)
3. The Bibleteaches me about what is wrong (thumbs)
4.Think about the Bibleday (make sun with hands) and night (use your hands like a pillow.)
During GreenHouse, Ms Kim taught us the rap song R to the B. She is so cool!
Parents, If you don’t already have a children’s Bible in your home, this is a great month to purchase one. There are lots of great children’s Bibles that simplify Bible stories using words and concepts that are understandable for pre-school age children. But don’t let your children’s Bible collect dust. Read a story from the Bible every day. This is a great way to instill this discipline in your child’s life.

It’s well known that reading with your child from an early age helps them with their language and literacy development and can helpbond parents and children together. But have you considered using a children’s Bible or devotional during your nightly reading time? Not only does this begin a great spiritual discipline of studying God’s Word daily, but it opens up the opportunity for you to have spiritual and moral conversations with your child on an ongoing basis.

Kids this age are ready to use The Bible and there are some fun designs with study helps for their age in Zondervan’s line of Backpack Bibles. They come in lots of fun designs that appeal to boys and girls.

We’ll be meeting on the5th night of VBS,Thursday night!We’ll be learning about the day of Pentacost (Acts 2:1-47). Our Bible Point will be JESUS GIVES US THE POWER TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT GOD! Aha! Start working on your power verse too, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” Mark 16-15

I’m Max-full of life and energy! We’ll be meeting on the 4th night of VBS, Wednesday night!I want kids to know that Jesus gives themthe power to live forever!We’ll be learning about how Jesus died and came back to life (John 14:18). Our Bible Point will be JESUS GIVES US THE POWER TO LIVE FOREVER! Start working on your power verse, “Since I live, you also will live.” John 14:19
Did you know that a battery mixes two or more metals in a certain way to make electricity!
We’re hoping to mix up some of our own electricity at VBS by mixing a lot of fun with the Power of Jesus! I bet it will be explosive!Can’t wait to see you there!
