This month we’ve been learning what it means to be Jesus’ friend. One thing we know for sure is “Who loves me?” Jesus Loves Me!
Memory Verse: “Love eachother as I have loved you.” John 15:12
In our story today, Jesus’s friends went fishing but they weren’t catching any fish. (Luke 5:1-11) Just when they wanted to give up, Jesus told them to try one more time. This time their nets became full of fish! So full, the nets broke! When Jesus helps us do something, he helps us win big!!!!
To help us remember our story today, we made fun colorful fish, and caught fish using little nets.

We also sang our funny song Yabba Dabba again and Jesus Loves Everyone. In our rooms, we kept praising God, by playing music on pots and pans.

Parents, emphasize the point of our lesson by taking on tasks this week with God’s help. For example, if your child has a hard time brushing their teeth, stop with your child and pray that God will help them. Let your child see you model this concept too. When you find something that’s hard for you, stop and ask God for help outloud. It’s important for your child to know that Jesus sees them, loves them, and wants to help them.
