Friendship Circle: Sept 21st

Tonight was our second week of Friendship Circle. (reminder, pre-registration is required. Contact JessicaS@wschurch.org to find out if there is still available spots for your child.)

We learned about seeds and what seeds need to grow. We also learned that we all have a little tiny bit of faith, but that there are things that help our faith to grow. If you missed the homework, you can get it below.

HOMEWORK: Sept 21st

Bible Reading
Read the parable of the sower.
Mark 4:1-20

Questions
Can you name something that a seed needs to help it grow?

Who made the sun? Who made the rain? Who made the dirt?

We need things to help our faith grow too? Can you think of something we need to help our faith grow? (possible answers: reading the Bible, going to church, obeying God, giving to others, serving others, worshipping God, building friendships with Christian friends, telling others about God, praying)

Activity
This week take a walk outside and try to find the tallest tree on your street or at the par. Remember that tree started as a very tiny seed. Bring home a leaf from the tree and trace it below.

Remember to bring your homework! Some kids are very close to getting their first prize!
