We are meeting at the mall tomorrow at 10. We’ll start at the Cookie Factory which is near the center of the mall. The kids will get to decorate a cookie and have a drink! Then, we’ll head to the mall play area where the kids can run and explore while the moms chat. It’s a great opportunity to get out of the house and meet other moms.
Be sure to pass on this invitation to other moms you know! We’ll see you at the cookie factory at 10!

Today was Mother’s Day. A day set aside to encourage all of us to show loveto the moms in our lives.
I know lots of amazing moms. Moms who give up sleep for middle of the night feedings and moms who bravely changediapers that could scare a skunk away. Moms that bandage up knees, and chase away the monsters in the closet. Moms that clean up boogies and barf; and smile while doing it. Moms that love their kids no matter how cranky, or rowdy, or smelly they get.
Moms who work tirelessly, day in and day out, to make sure their kids have the things that they really need in life.

This is my mom. She’s done all of that, and much more.
The thingfor which I’m most grateful, is that my mom has demonstrated what love is really all about. My mom loved me through my 2 year old tantrums, my middle school melodrama, and some terribly moody high school years (not to mention all the crazy years in between.) Parents are the first people to demonstrate the love that our heavenly Father has for us. God loves us through all of our disobedience, all of our doubts, all of our sinful rebellions. He is always there with open arms…..just like my mom.
To all the moms, Thank you for loving your kids. Thank you for helping them to know Jesus. Thank you for doing all the little things and all the big things that really matter. Thank you for showing your kids who God is.
To my mom, thank youfor giving me the things that really matter in life. I love you! Love, Jessica
